Chris Rahill is a UESCA-certified ultra running coach and accomplished endurance athlete who believes trail running should challenge you and make you smile. With endurance races like the Leadville Trail 100 under his belt and published Fastest Known Times (FKTs), Chris knows how to set big goals, push limits, and still have fun doing it.

His coaching style is all about balance: structured training plans combined with a positive, realistic mindset. Chris helps his athletes build smart, sustainable routines that adapt to real life; not just the perfect week on paper. He helps you avoid the serious burn out.

Chris is known for keeping things grounded and fun. He’s a big believer in consistency over perfection and often reminds athletes that joy and success aren’t mutually exclusive. If you’re laughing and getting stronger, you’re doing it right.

Chris has taken on major endurance races over the years, including the Leadville Trail 100 (which he finished in under 29 hours), the Silver Rush 50, the American Hero 100, and—of course—countless 50Ks along the way. This demonstrates he has firsthand knowledge of the demands of ultra running. He’s learned through the trenches of what it means to be a determined ultra runner.

Experienced Ultra Coach

He has successfully coached athletes through 100 mile races, 50 mile races and multiple 50Ks. He not only offers training plans, but also in-race coaching to guide runners in real-time. Pacing athletes has become one of his favorite things about coaching.

Comprehensive Training Approach

Beyond running, Chris is pursuing multiple certifications in personal training, corrective exercise, and continuing education, ensuring that his coaching covers all aspects of strength, recovery, and performance.
